One of the things I have greatly admired and appreciated about Dr Mukesh is that he is prepared to discuss things with us. He seemed to understand that one of the first things that people who have received a cancer diagnosis will do is search the internet for answers. As we all know, a little information can be a dangerous thing and it would have been easy for him to dismiss questions with a “you don’t want to believe everything you read on the internet” but he didn’t, he answered questions openly and honestly and took time to explain what was happening and what else we could do. If he did not agree with an alternative approach he explained the reasons why rather than just dismissing it out of hand.
